**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. is seeking an experienced, motivated, and talented attorney to join our team. The successful candidate will provide legal support and guidance to the company's executives, managers, and employees on a variety of legal issues related to the development and commercialization of quantum computing technology. The Corporate Counsel will report to the General Counsel and will work closely with the company's business and technical teams.
Job Responsibilities
Advise the company on a range of legal issues related to quantum computing, including intellectual property and IP portfolio management, licensing, data privacy, and regulatory compliance
Drive contracts through to close, with a practical, business-minded, problem-solving approach
Draft and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to the development and commercialization of quantum computing technology
Conduct legal research and analysis to support the company's business and technical teams
Assist in managing the company's intellectual property portfolio, including patent prosecution and litigation
Stay up-to-date with legal developments and trends in quantum computing and related fields
Collaborate with external legal counsel and other advisors as necessary
Other duties as assigned or required
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
BS/BA degree and J.D. degree from a top law school; MA or MSc in Business Administration will be considered an asset
Combination of in-house counsel and top international law firm experience
7 years of experience practicing law and relevant business/corporate experience, preferably in a technology-focused practice area such as intellectual property, contracts, regulatory compliance, export control, etc.
Admission to the bar in at least one state
Required to be in-office at least 3-days per week at our Louisville, CO, Chicago, IL, or Austin, TX locations.
Exceptionally strong written and verbal communicator, supportive interpersonal team player, talented at collaborating cross-functionally to communicate complex information to senior management and contribute positively to **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.s culture
Practical problem solver with excellent judgement and analytical skills
Demonstrated ability to make data-informed decisions, confidence in making difficult decisions independently, and demonstrated capabilities in establishing business practices to manage legal and other risks

Demonstrated ability to anticipate legal issues or risks and to see around the corner
Familiarity with the legal and regulatory landscape related to quantum computing and related technologies
Focused attention to detail with demonstrated ability to make recommendations and implement changes
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Contribute to and maintain positive relationships with strategic external relationship counterparts and outside counsel
Educate and advise senior management, marketing, project teams and scientists on project team strategy and, advance general legal issues and awareness

Benefits
The salary range for this role is $140,000
to $215,000
on an annualized basis
