Director of Medical Equipment Planning
Manages Medical Equipment Planning Team's financial well-being. Responsible for managing project equipment budgets and schedules from concept through completion. Provide technical design criteria to healthcare clients, design professionals and consultants. Assist team members with medical equipment planning work as needed. Assists in project management, client relationships and client retention.
Business Development - pursue new Medical Equipment Planning clients and project work. Research trends and emerging technology to maintain proficiency in these technologies. Participate in user group meetings with clients to determine medical equipment needs. Evaluate existing medical equipment to determine reuse and redeployment strategies. Participates in hiring, training, and development of Medical Equipment Planning staff.
Desired, Required, Preferred:
Bachelor’s Degree
Experience managing teams and project work
Experience in Business Development building client relationships
Excellent presentation and verbal and written communication skills
Organizational skills with the ability to multitask
Knowledge of software including Revit, Attainia, AutoCAD and Bluebeam.
Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Experience in the field of laboratory, medical equipment planning, material management, hospital buyer, healthcare planning, etc.
Travel as needed, up to 30%.
