Senior Applications Engineer

Profile

A client in Denver is looking to add to their team with a Road Warrior! Learn state of the art software and rack up those frequent flyer miles!
Delivery and Support teams work with customers to delivery and support high quality RFID solutions across multiple industries.
This technical and customer-facing position involves:
Technical Design of Software Installation Projects
Technical leadership and oversight of customer delivery projects
Customer site-surveys and preparation of system installation plans and project work plans
Installation, configuration and testing of hardware and software products
RTLS software implementation, customization and integration services
Performing customer training
Troubleshooting of technical issues
On-going support and maintenance of existing installations (hardware and software)
Input to product requirements planning process
The successful candidate will be a driven and enthusiastic individual with a strong technical background and general programming skills a plus.
Excellent presentation skills and confidence working with customers and peers are essential. The candidate must be comfortable presenting technical topics and product features and benefits to technology enthusiasts as well as to business managers on an individual level and to small and large groups.
Requirements
Superior problem solving skills.
Authoritative technical presence.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux), IP Networks, and relational database systems (Oracle, SQL)
Good understanding of wireless radio communications.
Extensive domestic and some international travel.
Education
Bachelors or Masters Degree from an accredited university in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
