Experis is hiring a Technical Architect with DISA expertise; 6 month role in Jacksonville, FL.
Job duties include but are not limited to the following:
o This resource is responsible for building and managing repositories for various System Configuration Management documents such as SOPs and Departmental Policies. This resource is technical enough to identify weaknesses or gaps in submitted documentation.
o Supports and Coordinates the IT DISA Pro Active Audit Model
o Coordinates with IT Administrators to ensure Inventory remediation steps occur timely.
o Coordinates with IT Security personnel across the organization to ensure proper and meaningful interpretation of DISA STIG Regulations.
o Implements and directs mock DISA STIG Compliance and Vulnerability Audits.
o Servers as primary on-point support person during active CMS audits.
o Ensures that all IT Platform teams maintain updated compliance and vulnerability standard, documentation and policies.
o Oversees the health of the Inventory Management and Compliance and Vulnerability systems.
o Responsible for communicating to all levels of management.
o Crates and maintains reports associated with the Inventory and Scanning systems.
Minimum of 3 of the requirements below must be met:
o Understanding of current best practices for DISA STIG compliance.
o Strong written and verbal communication skills are an absolute must for this role.
o Bachelors degree in Computer Science/ IT or equivalent work experience
o Excellent troubleshooting skills
o Experience working in a secured environment with CMS internal processes (POAM, SSP, JSM, CFACTS)
o 3 or more years experience in a Government regulated organization or supporting organization interacting with various contracted auditors and security personnel.
o In-depth knowledge and experience of system functions, security policies, compliance and vulnerability scanning programs.
o Deep understanding of Windows and UNIX based Operating Systems
o Understanding of various network protocols including: TCP/IP, Ports, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, network Switches and Routers.
o Familiarity with documentation and tools such as: NESSUS, CCM, IP360, BladeLogic.
Good communication skills and the ability to create Standard Operating
BONUS SKILLS:
Certifications: CISSP, ITIL, RHCA, CEH, ISACA, CISA
Government audit experience with any of the following: DOD, DLA, DISA STIG, SCAP, CyberScope scanning and remediation experience
Enterprise level Experience Designing/Supporting a complete Inventory Management System.
