Job Summary
Comcast Technology Solutions (CTS) is a high growth business unit within the Cable division of Comcast. Our mission is 'we take Comcast Technology to the world'. On the back of what Comcast builds for itself across the whole enterprise, CTS, then strategically reviews the market opportunity to see if we can commercialize those products for the broader industry and takes them to market globally. There are four business units currently within CTS, and we are creating a new business unit focused on the Cyber Security sector requiring the need for a new VP/GM to lead, run and manage this business. Comcast has created a next generation cyber security platform internally known as TITAN (Threat Intelligence and Threat Analytics) which is a Data Fabric platform. This is an emergin new sector and next generation cyber security solution. We have had outside consultants and industry experts undertake a strategic review of this solution and given us confidence that we can take this to market and commercialize this platform. This role is responsible for the overall leadership and delivery of taking TITAN to market across all functional areas and delivering to the business objectives and financial metrics defined.
Job Description
Core Responsibilities:
Leading the newly formed BU and developing the internal solution (TITAN) into a fully blown product and launch into the market. Drive results and growth.
Have a 'start-up, roll-up your sleeves' mentality within a large corporation to deliver a new product to the market.
Working across function within Comcast and CTS to drive the delivery of an MVP initially to market and beyond, working closely with the internal Cyber Security team who built this platform and build an industry leading product.
Set clear business objectives for both the team and the financial goals.
Work strategically with our potential GTM partners to drive sales activation
Analyzes the marketplace and overall market positioning.
Develops and promotes professional growth and development of personnel on all organizational levels to maintain continuity and efficiency in achieving goals and objectives
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
