JOB SUMMARY

Candidate will be responsible for maintaining equipment

across a portfolio. Candidate will support maintenance and repair on Sprinkler

systems, Fire Alarm system, Hood Suppression systems, Smoke Control systems,

Fire Extinguisher’s and ancillary fire systems such as Beam Detectors and VESDA

systems. Will act as subject matter expert for Fire and Life Safety team and

actively mentor team members.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Demonstrated mastery with Siemens and/or Simplex Fire Alarm

Panels SME for troubleshooting and maintaining two or more Fire Systems

elements including: Sprinkler systems, Fire Alarm system, Hood Suppression

systems, Smoke Control systems, Electronic Fire Extinguisher Monitoring

systems, Beam Detectors and VESDA systems. Candidate should have the ability to

work on low voltage electrical systems.

Candidate should have the ability to lift 50 lbs. Must have

a valid driver’s license and minimum infractions on MVR.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain preventive records and files

Plan

organize and execute day to day operations

Maintain electrical logbook entries

Maintain asset tracking deficiency logs

QUALIFICATIONS

NICET certification level (1-4)

Electrical 06 license

Backflow preventer

certification

FEX

1 extinguisher certification

VESDA Certification

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma/GED -OSHA 10 -Basic electrical system

safety -Minimum 5 years fire system/trouble-shooting experience

CERTIFICATES AND/OR LICENSES

Possession of or ability to acquire NICET Certification

Licensing for Journeyman should be WA state EL06 or equivalent Page 3

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong

organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely,

reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present

information.

FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE

Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles and to

understand operating budgets. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as

percentages, discounts, and/or commissions. Conducts basic financial analysis.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to comprehend, analyse, and interpret documents.

Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires

intermediate analytical and quantitative skills

OTHER SKILLS AND/OR ABILITIES

Decisions made with thorough knowledge of procedures and

company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Responsible for setting

own project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to

co-workers and supervisor.
