Summary: The Ethics & Compliance Department is seeking an experienced candidate to manage the policy management system, policy life cycle, and enterprise-wide disclosures. The successful candidate will be responsible for onboarding users, responding to user inquiries, monitoring policy owner review, and ensuring adherence to established policy guidelines. The position works collaboratively with policy owners to ensure revisions are completed in compliance with policy requirements and communicated clearly to the appropriate audience on a timely basis. The position provides guidance for the non-US policy repositories, identification of global baseline policies and required translations. Project management of new system roll-out and conducting training on new system may be required. In addition, the successful candidate will manage the global gift and hospitality and conflict of interest disclosures and is responsible for reviewing and ensuring adherence to requirements and approval workflows. These position responsibilities are also involved in evaluating the integration of newly acquired companies and joint ventures.
This position reports directly to the Lead Counsel for Regulatory Compliance, Office of Programs & Training.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: JD degree from an accredited law school and a license to practice law in at least one jurisdiction.
Experience: 3 years of legal experience, preferred in compliance related field with process management skills.
Computer Skills: Standard to intermediate computer skills.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to participate and/or present in small or large group discussions and conduct training to team members at various levels in the organization.
Special Skills: Database and analytical skills, attention to detail, ability to simplify complex documents and processes, ability to work without manager oversight. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Candidate must possess excellent analytical skills and have sound judgment to independently plan and accomplish goals.
Supervisory: No direct reports.
Travel: Minimal travel is required.
