Executive Director, WW Medical Congress Strategy Capability reports to VP, Head of Medical Capabilities within Global Medical Affairs and is responsible for ensuring unified congress presence through a centralized capability. The scope of this organization will span across matrix governance, alignment, and execution on all pre-, peri-, and post- Medical congress activities worldwide related to the Disease area strategy across the portfolio.•

•Establishing a clear, viable and compelling strategy for the Medical Congress capability, aligned with overall Medical vision, strategy and objectives, and designed to ensure delivery of timely and high quality unified presence at congresses worldwide

•Developing and driving a strategic framework for obtaining cross-functional alignment across Medical, R&D, Commercialization, WW Customer Capabilities, Competitive Intelligence, Public Relations, and Legal to ensure successful execution of pre-, peri-, and post- Congress activities

•Responsible for a team of 4-5 individuals who will be leading and managing across a complex matrix to drive execution of the strategic framework to coordinate activities; including but not limited to pre- and post- briefs, communication plan aligned with data disclosures, steering committee preparation, Congress presentations, pipeline unbranded materials for booth support, Thought Leader engagement, Speaker preparation, Field Medical training, and Insights and Congress debrief meetings

•Establishing guiding principles, templates, processes, tools, and operating procedures to ensure consistent delivery and alignment of standards across therapeutic areas worldwide

•Fostering collaborative relationships with academic & clinical experts, medical associations & other relevant stakeholder groups; participating in external Initiatives to foster trust and respect amongst academic and medical community;

•Serves as a subject matter expert and educator to BMS internal & external audiences

•Collaborating with internal stakeholders across the matrix and other Medical Capability leadership (e.g., Scientific Publications, Medical Content, Customer Engagement, Field Medical Excellence, Strategic Collaboration, NRDG) to ensure efficiency and value;

•Creates a high performing, externally focused organization which emphasizes teamwork, cooperation, personal accountability and a commitment to quality. Models BMS behaviors and reinforces such behaviors at all levels in the organization.

•Establishes clear metrics aligned to meeting customer needs and demonstrating desired outcomes of activities. Regularly communicates metrics with key stakeholders.

•Ensuring diversity and inclusion in decision making, organization and talent development.
