Hill Knowlton Strategies has an immediate need for
a
Vice
President
to serve as a workstream lead
for our US accounts
within the
Energy Industrials
Sector

will include working with account teams
on
both day-to-day and longer-lead
client
projects.
In this role you will be
expected to
lead
strategic planning and
implementation
of campaigns
You will be more than just advising your H K teams and clients; you must be comfortable
being involved in the day to day and
executing the
work
also
You must be capable of providing executives
and senior managers
unique insights and problem-solving guidance while still working closely with your team to develop and
implement
campaigns. You must be able to manage people and effectively maintain
best in class
client service, overseeing all administrative and financial aspects of the work. This Vice President will also serve as a leader within an integrated, multidisciplinary team providing cross team leadership and mentorship.

The ideal can
d
idate will have
Undergraduate degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related major

years of PR experience, agency preferred, with interest in Energy and Industrial sectors
Experience with written and developed materials, including integrated communication plans, press releases, pitches, and social media content
Strong writing, media, and research skills, social media experience
Results-focused approach and willingness to go the extra mile for clients
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
Highly detail-oriented, with excellent time-management skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (particularly Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
The position could work remotely or out of H K’s
New York,
Texas, California, Florida, Illinois,
or
DC offices.

esponsibilities include:
Establishing strong and trusted relationships with clients as senior advisor and true business partner
Providing
project
oversight with a client
excellence
mindset and commitment to quality work that exceeds expectations
Providing strategic senior leadership and counsel, generating fresh, smart ideas and leading consumer brand campaigns
Crafting thoughtful points of view and recommendations based on a broad understanding of consumer behavior, media relations and client landscapes
Developing client messaging and developing compelling brand narratives to share across channels
Driving growth by identifying opportunities to sell in additional services and programs
Directly managing and mentoring a collaborative team of smart and enthusiastic communications professionals; ensuring deliverables are met
Providing account oversight with a client-obsessed mindset and commitment to quality work that exceeds expectations
Developing
written materials, including reports,
press releases,
presentations, analyses, coverage recaps, and general client correspondence
Developing
/consulting on
earned media strategies
media lists, organizational partnerships, editorial calendars, conferences, and
awards
Leading team and client
meetings
