There are people who are nervous about their retirement plans. We're hearing all about the 401 K failures and how there might not be any retirement for people who've paid for it with years and years of employment. So many people have lost their faith in government run retirement plans and have begun looking at different options. Well, here's one: find yourself a 100k job in sales. 100k plus jobs in sales are common and can be done from anywhere. Most sales take place online now, so you can work from your home if you have Internet. To be honest, if you don't have Internet, you're about 15 years behind the rest of the world.

When you commence a 100k job search on Google or Yahoo, you'll find a lot of corporate job listings that require an impressive resume and all that jazz. Most people assume that all jobs over 100k require all that. However, you'll also find many companies looking for sales people to push their product to the masses. They're all willing to pay commission, and you can negotiate that percentage with them. If you feel you can work a sales position successfully, and you can really sell their product, then what's stopping you? You're about to make thousands and thousands of dollars in commissions. The more you sell, the more you make, so it's no longer about waiting for that raise or hoping you get the new position. You can simply roll up your sleeves and get to work. The harder you work and the more creative you get in your sales strategies, the more money you'll make. So if you want to retire in style, work hard and you can save up for it yourself. You don't have to rely on the government for your retirement pension.

If you're on all the social networking sites and major forums and chat rooms, you might see a salesperson pop on with his or her pitch and see how people respond to it. It might ruffle everyone's feathers as they immediately cry out, ''Spam!'' You might also see them take to it and contact or respond and ask more about the product. See what the salespersons say to follow up, if they say anything at all, and take notes.

If you're making money based on commission, and you start to really sell their product and see your own returns, then you can make your own budget plans to save up for your own retirement. You're in control now, and you're reinventing retirement. No more 401 K plans and pensions. You make your own money and call your own shots. Set up your own portfolio and put away a portion of your daily earnings to start collecting interest. Plus, if you're constantly innovating new ways to sell products, you might be able to sell your sales ideas to people or hire other sales novices to work under while you collect a small percentage of what they make. There are many ways in which you can ease and decrease your working hours each week until you start taking longer weekends and vacations. Eventually, you might not even want to completely retire, or if you do, you'll have a business and portfolio of your own set up. Your money will be working for you, now, so you will continue to collect the earnings you set up for yourself.

What a stress reliever to know that you're in control and won't have to worry if the government can't afford to pay everyone their 401 K pensions. It'd also be nice to leave the corporate world and work for yourself, choosing your own hours and how much you want to make. You can work as much or as little as you want and it can vary from week to week. So if you decide to put in 80 hours a week, you can. If you decide to take the next week off for vacation, you also can! You've got the freedom that's only limited by how much you want and need to earn each month. You have bills to pay and responsibilities you can't walk away from, but you can choose when to pay those bills and fulfill those responsibilities. It's all on your watch now!
